Der Begegnungscharakter und ein musikalischer Austausch standen im Fokus der intensiven Arbeitstage. Vom Dozententeam Peter Weniger und Jiggs Wigham, Diego Pinera und Frank Reichert wurden Tutti- und Satzproben, von Weniger und Wigham Sessions, Probevorspiele und Meisterklassen durchgef\u00fchrt. H\u00f6hepunkt am Ende: ein gemeinsames Konzert der beiden Phoenix-Besetzungen mit Wigham und Weniger als Gastsolisten Die beiden Phoenix-Besetzungen mit dem Jugendjazzorchester Brandenburg. Ein gemeinsamer Abschlusstitel &#8222;Take the A-Train&#8220; im Arrangement von Rob McConnell stand am Ende. Standing Ovations vom Publikum, Begeisterung bei Teilnehmern und Lothar Behounek, dem Leiter der Landesmusikakademie. F\u00fcr 2017 ist bereits die Fortsetzung geplant. Orginat\u00f6ne aus den Chats innerhalb der Band sprechen f\u00fcr sich: Paskal Klever: &#8222;Danke, war ein echt l\u00e4ssiges Wochenende&#8220;. Dave: &#8222;war ein super weekend mit euch, freu mich auf das n\u00e4chste&#8220;. Maher: &#8222;ich fand&#8217;s auch \u00fcbertrieben gut&#8220;. Willi: &#8222;Auch mal sch\u00f6n, in einer anderen Umgebung zu proben&#8220;.
