Die Arbeitsphase findet vom 13. bis 16. November mit einem Themenschwerpunkt aus aktuellem Anlass statt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Am 31.12.2025 w\u00e4re PETER HERBOZLHEIMER 90 Jahre alt geworden. Eine wunderbare Gelegenheit, sein Schaffen f\u00fcr die und mit der &#8222;Rhythm Combination &amp; Brass&#8220; in Erinnerung zu rufen \u2013 NUR und PUR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jemand der bestens geeignet ist, diese \u201eHomage\u201c auf den Weg zu bringen, ist Mitstreiter und \u201eZeitzeuge\u201c <strong>Erik van Lier, <\/strong>ehemals Posaunist in Herbolzheimers \u201eRhythm Combination &amp; Brass&#8220;.<br \/>Erik van Lier begann seine professionelle Laufbahn bereits im Alter von 17 Jahren in der niederl\u00e4ndischen Rundfunk-Bigband The Skymasters. Erik war vor seiner Zeit bei Herbolzheimer Bassposaunist der legend\u00e4ren Kenny Clarke-Francy Boland Big Band. Er spielte in der Slide Hampton-Joe Haider Big Band, der Mel Lewis-Joe Haider Big Band und in Thad Jones&#8216; Ball Of Fire.<br \/>Am Kon\u015fervatorium von Amsterdam, in der gr\u00f6\u00dften Jazzabteilung Europas, lehrt er Bassposaune und leitet die beiden Bigbands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Auch die Phoenix Junior Big Band reiht sich programmatisch ein und wird am Abend unter der Leitung von Frank Reichert Arrangements von Peter Herbolzheimers \u201eRhythm Combination &amp; Brass\u201c pr\u00e4sentieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Konzert am Sonntag, den 16.
